FILMS & PHOTOGRAPHY > LACMA for Ursula Mag

What a special opportunity--photograph museum director Michael Govan at the new Peter Zumthor designed building at LACMA before it was open to the public. With a few constraints! As the building's finishing touches were still being made we had to avoid showing ANY unfinished elements, including art that was stored on site but had yet to be installed. This was a serious challenge since the timing for the shoot was just a week before the major install progression started and a lot of work was already being staged. Regardless, there were many opportunities to highlight the building and the ambition of all who brought it to life. This project was for Hauser & Wirth's Ursula Magazine, and presented in partnership with Genesis. Read the whole article (((here))).
